یہ خامشی ہے محبت کی آبرو کے لیے
نگاہ شوق کی بے تابیاں معاذ اللہ
یہ اہتمام ہے تجدید آرزو کے لیے
بہار آئی ہے لیکن عجیب عالم ہے
ترس رہا ہوں تماشائے رنگ و بو کے لیے
تسلیٔ دل صد چاک ہو گئی کاملؔ
کسی کا تار نظر مل گیا رفو کے لیے
