کون کہے اس پل کیا ہو
رؤو مگر نہ رونے دو
ایسی بھی جل تھل کیا ہو
بہتی ندی کو باندھے باندھ
چلو میں ہلچل کیا ہو
جینا آمنے سامنے کا
موت میں پھر کس بل کیا ہو
ہر چھن ہو جب آس لئے
ہر چھن پھر نربل کیا ہو
کانچ کے ٹکڑے چنے مگر
تجھ سا وہ بے کل کیا ہو
رات ہی گر چپ چاپ ملے
صبح بھی پھر چنچل کیا ہو
آج ہی آج کی کہیں اگر
کسی کی بھی کل کل کیا ہو
