tumhārī yaad bhī aa.ī hazār hiile se
badan kā lams havā ko banā gayā ḳhushbū
nazar ke sehr se manzar hue nashīle se
ye zindagī bhī faqat ret kā samundar hai
kabhī nigāh jo Daalo fanā ke Tiile se
ye shā.irī mujhe 'shahbāz' yuuñ bhī pyārī hai
ki merā ḳhud se ta.alluq hai is vasīle se
