زندگی کتنا آزمائے گی

آخرش وہ بھی ہار جائے گی
کس قدر پیاس ہے سمندر کو
میری تشنہ لبی بتائے گی
کیا خبر تھی شب فراق کے بعد
زندگی خود بھی روٹھ جائے گی
کیا ہوا لب کو سی دیا بھی اگر
خامشی داستاں سنائے گی
میں اسے کیسے بھول پاؤں گا
وہ مجھے کیسے بھول پائے گی
بعد ترک تعلقات صباؔ
اور بھی اس کی یاد آئے گی
