کس مہورت میں دن نکلتا ہے
کس مہورت میں دن نکلتا ہے
شام تک صرف ہاتھ ملتا ہے
ایک دھاگے کی بات رکھنے کو
موم کا روم روم جلتا ہے
کام چاہے ذہن سے چلتا ہے
نام دیوانگی سے چلتا ہے
اس کا کچھ تو علاج کرواؤ
اس کے ویہوار میں سرلتا ہے
یاد آتے ہیں شیر راہیؔ کے
درد جب شاعری میں ڈھلتا ہے
