تمہیں
میرے دل میں اتارا گیا تھا
میں نے
ہر ممکن جتن کیے
کہ تمہیں بھول جاؤں
مگر یہ
کبھی ممکن نہ ہو سکا
پھر نجانے کب
میری روح نے
دریائے لیتھی کا پانی پی لیا
اور
تم
یوں محو ہو گئیں یادوں سے
جیسے کبھی
میری زندگی میں آئی ہی نہ تھیں
