اجل سرائے تیرگی
میں گھپ اندھیرے میں جا چھپا تھا
کہ روشنی میری جاں کی بیری
مرا تعاقب نہ کرنے پائے
مگر اندھیرے
گرسنہ جاں عنکبوت کی شاطری دکھا کر
مجھے نحیف و نزار پا کر
خود اپنے جالے میں کس کے میرے بدن کو مسمار کر چکے تھے!
