بہترین دن
روز پھول توڑ کر
میز پر سجا دئیے
صبح تم کو خط لکھے
شام کو جلا دئیے
خواب اک فریم میں
کیل سے لگا دئیے
گھر کی سیڑھیوں سے سارے
آئینے گرا دئیے
جتنے گیت یاد تھے
کیا کہیں بھلا دئیے
ہم نے بہترین دن
بس یونہی گنوا دئیے
