درد کے گہرے سناٹے میں
قریۂ جاں کے
بند کواڑ پہ دستک دے کر
ہلکی سی سرگوشی کر کے
کوئی تو پوچھے
اب تک زندہ رہنے والو
ہجر کے گہرے سناٹوں میں
اپنے آپ سے بچھڑے لوگو
کیسے زندہ رہ لیتے ہو
