ایک دھندھلی سی تصویر کو
اپنے سینے سے کس کر لگائے ہوئے
شہر کی
سب سے اونچی عمارت پہ ہو کر کھڑا
لہجہ خاموش کرتے ہوئے
دھندھلی تصویر کے کان میں
صرف اتنا کہا
تم بہت ہی حسیں ہو جواں ہو مگر
تم سے بھی اس جہاں میں حسیں موت ہے
