گزر گاہ پر تماشا
کھلی سڑک ویران پڑی تھی
بہت عجب تھی شام
اونچا قد اور چال نرالی
نظریں خوں آشام
سارے بدن پر مچا ہوا تھا
رنگوں کا کہرام
لال ہونٹ یوں دہک رہے تھے
جیسے لہو کا جام
ایسا حسن تھا اس لڑکی میں
ٹھٹھک گئے سب لوگ
کیسے خوش خوش چلے تھے گھر کو
لگ گیا کیسا روگ
