اور کچھ میرے قریب آ جاؤ
جلوۂ حسن کو کچھ اور ضیا ریز کرو
اپنے سینے سے ابھرنے والے
آتشیں سانس کی لو تیز کرو
میری اس پیرئ درماندہ کی
خشک اور خستہ سی خاکستر افسردہ میں
سوز غم کو شرر انگیز کرو
یوں ہی پل بھر ہی سہی
میرے قریب آ جاؤ
زندگی دور ہوئی جاتی ہے
