وہ لکھنا چاہتے تھے
سو انہوں نے لکھا
انہوں نے لکھا پیڑوں کو ہرا
جنگل کو گھنا
ندی گہری آکاش نیلا
اور سپنے سندر
انہوں نے لکھا جو انہوں نے دیکھا
جو انہوں نے بھوگا
تم بھی لکھنا چاہتے ہو
سو تم بھی لکھو
لیکن کیا لکھو گے
تمہارے تو سپنے بھی سندر نہیں
