وہ اک سجدہ
علامت تھا جو عظمت کا تقدس کا
وہی سجدہ جبینوں سے نکل کر
آج راہوں اور گلیوں میں سجا ہے
اور اب جاگیر کہلاتا ہے
کچھ مردہ پرستوں بے ضمیروں کی
سجے ہیں آج ان سے
کچھ سلگتے گھر
