سوچتا ہوں کہ
لاکھ شاداب ہو آباد ہو دنیا کا چمن
دل کی قسمت میں ہے تنہائی کے کانٹے کی چبھن
بے سہارا یہ ہمیشہ سے رہا ہے یارو
اس نے ہر درد اکیلے ہی سہا ہے یارو
صرف اک راز جو سینے میں چھپا بیٹھا ہے
دوست بن کر اسے تسکین دیا کرتا ہے
سوچتا ہوں کہ میں وہ راز بھی افشا کر دوں
دل کو اب دہر میں بالکل ہی اکیلا کر دوں
