वक़ार-ए-शौक़ से गिर कर भी वार मत करना
मिले जो ज़ख़्मी परिंदा शिकार मत करना
हम अपने ज़ख़्मों पे रख लें नमक ज़रूरी है
दयार-ए-इश्क़ में उन की महक ज़रूरी है
होगी न चारागर तिरी तदबीर कारगर
हम को ख़ुद अपने ज़ख़्मों की चाहत है आज-कल
