is qadar baDh gai wahshat tere diwane ki

agar dushman ki thoDi si marammat aur ho jati

na puchho tumko aur dushman ko dil mein kya samajhta hun

allah allah wasl ki shab is qadar eajaz hai

zulm sale ne kiya ye dil-e-dil-gir ke sath

uchhalta kudta hai KHush dil-e-diwana hota hai

mere nalon ko tum kahte ho ye kamzor nale hain

dushman ke sath yar bhi bola sharab do

jo puchha kya mariz-e-gham ka darman ho nahin sakta

aadha maza visal ka pae hue to hun

agar dushman ki thoDi si marammat aur ho jati

kar saki kuchh na teri zulf-e-siyah-fam mera

adu ko maine puchha kaun ye sarkar baiThe hain

jab KHizan aai chaman mein sab dagha dene lage

josh par yun jazba-e-be-iKHtiyar aa hi gaya

shab-e-wada idhar mujhko hansi si aai jati hai

bula kar dushmanon ko jaan par mushkil na ban jae

abe sale teri mahfil ka naqsha aur hi kuchh hai

puchh-gachh hashr mein hone lagi diwanon ki

adu ki un ke kuche mein marammat hone wali hai

chhuTega ji na ji na gulistan-e-arzu

kam-sini aur shabab ka aalam

aatish-e-husn bhari hai tere ruKHsaron mein

adu ki maut ka tumko agar malal hua

duniya ki do-rangi dekho to jab ghar mein faqe hote hain

phanse kuchh aise hum aah-o-fughan ke dhoke mein

na chhoDi nasl bhi baqi ari barq-e-tapan tu ne

jo na-murad kucha-e-jaanan mein aa gae

jo puchha kya mariz-e-gham ka darman ho nahin sakta
