Mohammad Waseem was born on 12 February 2002 in Aam Gaon, a village in the Siddharthnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, near the Kakrahwa Indo–Nepal border. His father, Azimullah Naik, is a farmer by profession, and his mother, Baitun Nisa, is a homemaker.

His interest in Urdu poetry began during his student years. His father and his school Urdu teacher played a significant role in nurturing this passion. He received his early education in Aligarh and later completed his intermediate studies at Jamia Senior Secondary School, Jamia Millia Islamia.

He earned his Bachelor's degree in Geography from Lovely Professional University and subsequently completed his Master's degree in Geography from Aligarh Muslim University
