रौशनी ज़िन्दगी की अलामत है और चिराग़ रौशनी की। चिराग, दुनिया में जो कुछ अच्छा और सकारात्मक है उसके प्रतीक के तौर पर इस्तेमाल होता रहा है। उर्दू शायरों ने भी अलग-अलग नामों से और मुख़्तलिफ़ लफ़्ज़ों और आलामात-ओ-तश्बीहात के सहारे कायनात के रौशन पहलू को दिखाने की कोशिश की है। चिराग़ और हवा के रिश्ते ने उम्मीद और नाउम्मीदी, रौशनी और अंधेरे की एक दिलचस्प तारीख़ तैयार की है जिसे हम चिराग़ शायरी के तहत यहाँ पेश कर रहे हैं।
सादगी ज़िंदगी गुज़ारने के अमल में इख़्तियार किया जाने वाला एक रवय्या है। जिस के तहत इंसान ज़िंदगी के फ़ित्री-पन को बाक़ी रखता है और उस की ग़ैर-ज़रूरी आसाइशों, रौनक़ों और चका चौंद का शिकार नहीं होता। शेरी इज़हार में सादगी के इस तसव्वुर के अलावा उस की और भी कई जहतें हैं। ये सादगी महबूब की एक सिफ़त के तौर पर भी आई है कि महबूब बड़े से बड़ा ज़ुल्म बड़ी मासूमियत और सादगी के साथ कर जाता है और ख़ुद से भी उस का ज़रा एहसास नहीं होता है। सादगी के और भी कई पहलू है। हमारे इस इंतिख़ाब में पढ़िए।
