H اونٿ ऊंट ūṅṭ [S. उष्द्र], s.m. Camel:—ūṅṭ biṭhānā, To make a camel lie down in order to load it:—ūṅṭ-ćaṛhe kuttā kāṭe, (prov.) 'The dog bites one who is mounted on a camel,' i.e. Misfortune has long arms for the unfortunate:—ūṅṭ-kaṭārā, s.m. A thistle of which camels are fond, Echinops echinatus:—ūṅṭ-gāʼo, s.m. Giraffe:—ūnṭ-wān, s.m. Camel-driver (syn. sār-bān).

Brickwork, bricklaying:—īṅṭ-kā ghar maṭṭī karnā, To reduce a brick house to dust, to demolish a brick house;—to destroy the prosperity of a house, to reduce to poverty:—īṅṭ-kā ghar maṭṭī honā or ho-jānā, To be brought low from a state of prosperity and affluence, to be reduced to poverty:—īṅṭ-kor, s.m. Brick-dust:—īṅṭ-kī ćināʼī, s.f. Bricklaying, brickwork:—īṅṭ-gārī, s.f.=īṅṭ-kārī, q.v.:—īṅt-mār-ćaṛhākṛā, s.m. A boys' game (one boy throws a stone which others try to hit, and he who is successful rides on the back of the first thrower as far as the stone thrown by him).
