H چيل चील ćīl [Prk. चिल्लो; S. चिल्लः], s.f. A kite, Falco cheela:—ćīl-jhapaṭṭā or jhapṭā, s.m. 'Swoop of a kite'; a boy's game (something like the game of bear-baiting):—ćīl jhapaṭṭā karnā or mārnā, To pounce upon in the manner of a kite, to snatch:—ćīl-dāṅgar, adj. & s.m. (colloq.), Having long shanks;—long-shanks:—ćīl-kā paṭṭhā, s.m. (colloq.), 'The young of a kite'; a stupid or foolish person.
