دائين दायं, दाएं dāʼeṅ i.q. dahine, obl. of dahinā, q.v.

H دائين दायं, दाएं dāʼeṅ (i.q. dahine, obl. of dahinā, q.v.), adv. To the right, on the right (hand or side):—dāʼeṅ-bāʼeṅ, adv. Right and left:—dāʼeṅ-bāʼeṅ de-kar nikal-jānā, To dodge right and left and get away:—dāʼen-bāʼeṅ dekhnā, To look right and left, to keep a sharp look out, to be vigilant or careful:—dāʼeṅ-bāʼeṅ karnā, v.t. 'To put to the right and left'; to put out of the way, to stow away, secrete, conceal.
