H دهڙ धड़ dhaṛ [Prk. धटं; S. धर्त्रं], s.m. Trunk (of the body), the body; a body, party, side;—(dialec.) side, face; direction;—a kind of drum (sounded in the arena when a wrestler is successful):—dhaṛ-bhāʼī, s.m. One of a party or side, a partisan:—dhaṛ-toṛ, s.m. 'Breaking the back,' a trick in wrestling:—dhaṛ-ṭūṭā, adj. & s.m. Broken-backed; hunch-backed;—a broken-backed person; a hunch-back:—dhaṛ jīv-se laṛānā, v.n. (fig.), To think, reflect, consider:—dhaṛ rah-jānā, v.n.
