(f. -sī), Elephant-like, big as an elephant, huge, bulky:—hāthī-sunḍ-kā pānī, s.m. A waterspout:—hāthī-kī rāh, s.f. The galaxy or milky way (syn. ākāś-gaṅgā):—hāthī-nāl, s.f. To lower, to render vile or abject, to humiliate, to humble:—heṭhe (obl. of heṭhā), adv. At the bottom (of, -ke); below, beneath.
