A اقدام iqdām [inf. n. iv of قدم 'to go before or forward'], s.m. Sending on before, causing to go before; pushing forward; boldness, intrepidity, audacity, resolution, firmness, spirit; endeavour, effort, diligence, attention:—iqdām karnā (-par), To enter boldly (upon), go boldly forward (in), resolutely undertake; to advance (against).
