H نيلا नीला nīlā [Prk. नीलओ; S. नीलकः], adj. (f. -ī), Dark blue; blue; livid:—nīlā-patthar, or (corr. or dialec.) nīlā-phatthar, s.m. The sapphire:—nīlā-pīlā, adj. (f. nīlī-pīlī), 'Blue and yellow'; black and blue:—nīlā-thothā, or (dialec.) nilā-totā, s.m. Blue vitriol, blue stone, sulphate of copper:—nīlā-karnā or kar-denā, v.t.
