A قصاص qiṣāṣ, corr. qaṣāṣ (v.n. fr. قصّ 'to follow; to pursue; to cut,' &c.), s.m. The law of retaliation, lex talionis (used in contradistinction to diyat); retaliation; revenge;—capital punishment.
