تاكيد tākīd
A تاكيد tākīd [inf. n. ii of اکد for وکد 'to correspond (to),' &c.], s.f. Confirmation, ascertaining, strengthening, corroboration; stress, emphasis; injunction, order; reminder; pressure, compulsion; strict or close superintendence:—tākīd karnā, v.t. To enjoin strictly, to urge, press, insist on; to ascertain; to caution:—tākīd karwanā, v.t. To cause attention to be drawn to; to draw attention to (an order, &c.).
