H تانا ताना tānā [contrac. of tāʼonā = tāpnā, q.v.], v.t. To heat; to raise heat (by blowing with bellows, &c.); to anneal, to temper; to melt, fuse; to twist (by heating=tāʼo denā); to prove, test, assay.
