ٿهان ठान ṭhān
H ٿهان ठान ṭhān [S. स्थानं], = H ٿهانا ठाना ṭhānā [S. स्थानकं], s.m. A place for tying up an animal, a stall:—ṭhān-band, ṭhāne band, adj. That is ever in the stall or stable (a horse, bullock, &c.):—ṭhān-bandī, ṭhāne-bandī, s.f. Confinement to the stall or stable (of a beast).

H ٿهن ठन ṭhan [Prk. ठणा; S. स्तना], s.f. Sound, noise, ring:—ṭhan-ā-ṭhan, s.f. Repeated or continued sound; ringing, jingling, clanging; ring, jingle, clang, din; the sound of the repeated strokes of a hammer, or of a mace, or sword, or dagger, &c. (=ćak-ā-ćāk);—adv. With a jingle or clang, &c., ding-dong:—ṭhan-ṭhan, s.f. Ring, clang, din, &c. (=ṭhan-ā-ṭhan); a mere sound or noise, a nothing:—ṭhan-kār, s.f. Ring, clink, jingle, tinkle=ṭhanāk.

H تهن थन than [Prk. थणो; S. स्तनः], s.m. Udder; teat;(prov.) breast, bubby:—than-ṭuṭṭā, than-ṭūṭā, adj. Weaned; impoverished, thin, stunted through lack of nourishment (a calf, foal, &c.):—than-dār, adj. & s.f. Having an udder;—an animal with a large udder.
