Azam Tariq Kohistani is a well-known writer from Karachi, Pakistan. His real name is "Mohammad Tariq Khan". He was born on August 2, 1990 in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He has completed his M.Phil in "Urdu Magazines for Children in Pakistan: 1971 to 2000". His first article was published in Monthly Children Magazine "Sathee" in 2007. After that, he is continuously writing for children and for general interest magazines and newspapers. He has won numerous awards on his literary contributions. He also worked as an Assistant Editor for "Gogo" and "Sim Sim" magazines. In 2014, he became editor of the monthly magazine "Jugmug Taray" and two years later in 2016; he started working as an editor of "Monthly Sathee". He also gave his helping hand in the publication of a Girls magazine "Khilti Kalian". Currently, he is the editor of children magazine "Bachon Ka Aashaina" and an in house magazine "Chase Up Diary" in the corporate sector. He is the author of two children’s books namely, "Phool Ka Raaz" and "Inami Library".
