ilāj-e-dil ke liye aur ab kahāñ jaa.eñ
tumhāre shahr meñ sab kuchh milā davā ke sivā
Zabt Ansariilaj-e-dil ke liye aur ab kahan jaen
tumhaare shahr mein sab kuchh mila dawa ke siwa
bahut se ġham to diye 'zabt' aise logoñ ne
ki jin se koī tavaqqo na thī vafā ke sivā
