بجلیاں اور بہار کیا کہنا
آگ اور لالہ زار کیا کہنا
میری آہیں بھی نا پسند انہیں
صبر بھی ناگوار کیا کہنا
عشق کی بے بسی معاذ اللہ
حسن کا اختیار کیا کہنا
غم ہو جس زندگی کی بسم اللہ
اس کا انجام کار کیا کہنا
غم ہی غم ہاشمیؔ جزاک اللہ
میرے لیل و نہار کیا کہنا
