نشہ سا آ گیا سمندر کو
ڈولتی ڈگمگاتی سی ناؤ
پی گئی آ کے سارے ساگر کو
خشک پیڑوں میں جان پڑنے لگی
دیکھ کر روپ کے سمندر کو
بحر پیاسے کی جستجو میں ہے
ہے صدف کی تلاش گوہر کو
کوئی تو نیم وا دریچوں سے
دیکھے اس رتجگے کے منظر کو
ایک دیوی ہے منتظر فارغؔ
وا کئے پٹ سجائے مندر کو
