ہم سے رشتہ جو تشنگی کا ہے
سارا احسان اک ندی کا ہے
رنگ جو روح تک مری اترا
رنگ وہ آپ کی ہنسی کا ہے
مجھ کو بھی پانا چاہتا ہے وہ
ہاتھ میں ہاتھ بھی کسی کا ہے
وہ زمیں کس لیے رہی پھر خشک
جس پہ اک راستہ ندی کا ہے
ہم کو حاصل نہیں ہوا پھر بھی
ہم پہ حق آج بھی اسی کا ہے
