ہر تعلق بحال رکھا ہے
خود کو مشکل میں ڈال رکھا ہے
وہ مری دوست بھی نہیں ہے دوست
جس کا میں نے خیال رکھا ہے
جامعہ کے کلاک ٹاور پر
اپنا ہجر و وصال رکھا ہے
آسماں کھینچتا ہے اپنی طرف
اور زمیں نے اچھال رکھا ہے
میں نے دل میں تمہیں جگہ دی ہے
تم نے دنیا کا مال رکھا ہے
