کاغذی کشتیاں بناتا تھا
دل کبھی پرچیاں بناتا تھا
میں وہ لڑکا تھا جو کہ کاپی پر
پھول اور تتلیاں بناتا تھا
دیکھ لینے کی اتنی چاہت تھی
خواب میں کھڑکیاں بناتا تھا
میں بناتا تھا دوری دنیا سے
اور وہ درمیاں بناتا تھا
کاٹ دیتا تھا رات ٹھٹھرن میں
دھوپ میں سردیاں بناتا تھا
ایک پتھر سے عشق کرتا تھا
ریت پر مچھلیاں بناتا تھا
نیند چیخوں کے تار بنتی تھی
ہوش خاموشیاں بناتا تھا
