میاں شعر کہنا جو آسان ہوتا
تو اب تک ہمارا بھی دیوان ہوتا
خدا کے کرم سے ہے دل سبز و شاداب
اداسی نہ ہوتی تو ویران ہوتا
میں کچھ ایسے حالات سے لڑ رہا ہوں
مرا باپ ہوتا تو حیران ہوتا
اگر آج کرتے حساب محبت
مرے ہاتھ تیرا گریبان ہوتا
بھلا ہو کہ ہجرت بڑے کام آئی
ترے ساتھ ہوتا تو نقصان ہوتا
مجھے ہی محبت تھی تجھ سے وگرنہ
مری طرح تو بھی پشیمان ہوتا
