آج آئے گا وہ نظر چھت پر
کاش ہم بھیگ جائیں بارش میں
اور وہ بھی ہو تربتر چھت پر
سہما سہما سا دیکھتا ہوں میں
اور آتی ہے وہ نڈر چھت پر
دن ڈھلے دودھیا اجالا ہے
لگ گئی آگ اس قدر چھت پر
دیکھ کر اس کو منہ چھپا لیتا
چاند ہوتا کہیں اگر چھت پر
