وفا زندگی سے نبھانے لگا ہوں
میں پھر آج کل مسکرانے لگا ہوں
محبت بھری اک کہانی پرانی
سنو نہ سنو میں سنانے لگا ہوں
وہ کیسے ملی دل میں کیسے بسی تھی
میں پردے سبھی اب اٹھانے لگا ہوں
یہ عادلؔ کے اشعار ہیں تازہ تازہ
جنہیں زیر لب گنگنانے لگا ہوں
