وہ آنکھ اٹھی تو میخانے بہت ہیں
وہ آنکھ اٹھی تو میخانے بہت ہیں
یہ دل ٹوٹا تو پیمانے بہت ہیں
مری بربادیوں پر ہنسنے والو
حقیقت کم ہے افسانے بہت ہیں
مبارک چاند تک پرواز لیکن
زمیں پر بھی تو ویرانے بہت ہیں
چراغ دل جلا دو غم کے مارو
کہ راہوں میں سیہ خانے بہت ہیں
یہ دنیا بھی عجب دنیا ہے شاداںؔ
کہ اپنوں ہی میں بیگانے بہت ہیں
