ज़ह्न-ए-बीमार से उलझता हूँ
रोज़ दीवार से उलझता हूँ
तेरे किरदार के लिए अक्सर
अपने किरदार से उलझता हूँ
तुझ से उलझी हुई है यूँ निस्बत
यार-ओ-अग़्यार से उलझता हूँ
जो मिरे दिल जिगर में जा उतरे
मैं उसी ख़ार से उलझता हूँ
ज़िंदगी इन दिनों है कुछ ऐसे
जैसे अंगार से उलझता हूँ
सोचता हूँ उसे कहूँ कुछ तो
अपने पिंदार से उलझता हूँ
दिल के दुश्मन 'वलीद' हैं लाखों
रोज़ दो चार से उलझता हूँ
