ذہن پر بھی سوار ہے وہ شخص
میرے دل کی پکار ہے وہ شخص
مان لیتا ہوں کہ برا ہے مگر
قابل اعتبار ہے وہ شخص
کس طرح سے اسے بھلاؤں میں
ایک حسیں یادگار ہے وہ شخص
اس کو سوچوں تو لفظ ملتے ہیں
میری غزلوں کا سار ہے وہ شخص
زندگی بھر چکانا ہے اس کو
مجھ پہ ایسا ادھار ہے وہ شخص
میں ادھر غم زدہ ہوں ساحل پر
اور دریا کے پار ہے وہ شخص
