ایک دل کو ہزار داغ لگا
اندرونے میں جیسے باغ لگا
اس سے یوں گل نے رنگ پکڑا ہے
شمع سے جیسے لیں چراغ لگا
خوبی یک پیچہ بند خوباں کی
خوب باندھوں گا گر دماغ لگا
پاؤں دامن میں کھینچ لیں گے ہم
ہاتھ گر گوشۂ فراغ لگا
میرؔ اس بے نشاں کو پایا جان
کچھ ہمارا اگر سراغ لگا
