راہ کی بات کہیں ہم کس سے بے تہہ یاں اکثر ہیں لوگ
سرگرم بے راہروی ہیں خود گم بے رہبر ہیں لوگ
بد تر آپ سے پاؤں کسو کو تو میں اس کا عیب کہوں
خوب تامل کرتا ہوں تو سب مجھ سے بہتر ہیں لوگ
دیوانے ہیں شہر وفا کی راہ و رسم کے ہم تو میرؔ
دل کے کہے جی دینے والے قاطبۃً گھر گھر ہیں لوگ
