आलम-ए-उजलत
आईना-ख़ाना-ए-आलम मुझे मा'लूम है ये
मौजा-ए-वक़्त पे जो अक्स उभरते हैं यहाँ
उन की क़िस्मत में फ़ना लिखी है
न तो इमरोज़ है कुछ और न ही फ़र्दा है
एक दो रोज़ का लम्हा है ये हस्ती अपनी
सैकड़ों अक्स उभरते हैं बिखरने के लिए
आईना-ख़ाने की वीरानी का आलम ये है
एक भी अक्स को महफ़ूज़ नहीं रहना है
अक्स-दर-अक्स अजब आलम-ए-उजलत है यहाँ
रोज़ तस्वीर बदल जाती है मय-ख़ाने में
साग़र-ए-हस्त उठाने भी नहीं पाते अभी
साक़ी-ए-नीस्त हमें जाम-ए-फ़ना देता है
है अजब आलम-ए-उजलत कि यहाँ हर लम्हा
दूसरे लम्हे को खा जाता है क़ातिल बन कर
आब-ओ-गिल गूँध के कूज़े जो बनाए गए हैं
उन की तख़्लीक़ का हासिल ही बिखरना ठहरा
कूज़ा-गर क्या तुझे तकलीफ़ नहीं होती जब
तेरा फ़न ख़ाक में मिल जाता है
