جہاں کی رونقیں دیکھو
یہ دیکھو کوچہ و بازار بھی سارے
پڑے ہیں آج ایسے کچھ
کہ جیسے کوئی مجنوں یا
دوانہ اور پاگل شخص
کسی لیلیٰ کی چاہت میں
لٹا کر اور گنوا کر سب
یہاں تک کہ
متاع دل متاع جاں
پڑا ہو ریت پر تنہا
کسی تپتے ہوئے صحرا کی باہوں میں
جہاں کی رونقیں دیکھو
