دبلے بچے موٹے بچے
کالے ہوں یا گورے بچے
بچے تو بچے ہوتے ہیں
یہ من کے سچے ہوتے ہیں
باتیں ان کی پیاری پیاری
صورت ان کی نیاری نیاری
ان کی کوئی ذات نہ پات
کھیلتے ہیں یہ سب کے ساتھ
یہ کیا جانیں بھید اور بھاؤ
یہ تو ہیں کاغذ کی ناؤ
جس پانی میں انہیں بہا دو
تم جو چاہو راہ دکھا دو
عقل کے یہ کچے ہوتے ہیں
یہ من کے سچے ہوتے ہیں
