kitni hasrat se teri aankh ka baadal barsa

main jis ko rah dikhaun wahi haTae mujhe

chand mere ghar mein utra tha kahin Duba na tha

titliyan rangon ka mahshar hain kabhi socha na tha

meri soch laraz uTThi hai dekh ke pyar ka ye aalam

zamin se ta-ba-falak koi fasla bhi nahin

jo ubhre waqt ke sanche mein Dhal ke

tere bazuon ka sahaara to le lun magar in mein bhi rach gai hai thakan

ruh ke jalte KHarabe ka mudawa bhi nahin

hum bhi nadan hain samajhte hain ki chhaT jaegi

baja ki kashti hai para para thapeDe tufan ke kha raha hun

aarif azal se tera amal mominana tha

main azal ka rah-rau mujhko abad ki justuju

DhunDhta hun sar-e-sahra-e-tamanna KHud ko

har-chand mera gham gham-e-nadida raha hai

wo karwan-e-bahaaran ki be-dara hoga

tere bazuon ka sahaara to le lun magar un mein bhi rach gai hai thakan

chhupae dil mein hum akasr teri talab bhi chale
