rahen dhuan dhuan hain safar gard gard hai

soch kar mil zara tawaqquf kar

humse diwanon ko asri aagahi Dasti rahi

honTon pe uske jumbish-e-inkar bhi nahin

zaban kuchh aur kahti hai nazar kuchh aur kahti hai

sinon mein agar hoti kuchh pyar ki gunjaish

kisi kisi ko hi aate hain ras afsane

ek bewa ki aas lagti hai

rahen dhuan-dhuan hain safar gard-gard hai

haqiqaton mein badalta sarab chubhne laga
